Indian Wars Kepi 7th Cavalry Badge

Original Indian Wars pin back kepi pin for the 7th Cavalry, "D" Troop.  This one is early, probably late 1870's.  Back is lead filled with pin and fastner.  Letter and number are attached with wire.  Measures 2 3/4" by 1 1/4".
